モーディ・マオール ヘッドコーチ退団および移籍先決定のお知らせ
長崎ヴェルカはモーディ・マオール ヘッドコーチとの契約が満了となり、退団することをお知らせいたします。
また、マオール氏は新たな挑戦としてミシガン大学(NCAA)のアシスタントコーチへ就任しましたので、併せてお知らせいたします。

"We The Nagasaki" この2年間を表現するのに、これ以上ふさわしい言葉はありません。
ジャパネット、事業部、チームスタッフ、コーチ、選手、そして長崎の皆さん。私たち全員の結束こそが、これまで成し遂げてきたすべての原動力でした。
このクラブのビジョンを形にするという責任を託されたことは、私のキャリアにおいて最も最高の栄誉の一つでした。私はその責任を深く受け止め、この街にふさわしいチームを作るために全力を尽くしてきました。
そして今、このクラブが日本バスケットボール界の頂点、チャンピオンの座に立っていることを噛み締めながら、私は大きな誇りを胸にこの長崎の地を去ります。
その道のりは決して平坦ではありませんでした。困難も、挫折も、私たち全員が試される瞬間もありました。それでも頂上にたどり着けたのは、私たちが共に登り続けたからです。
感謝を伝えたい人がたくさんいます。
拓摩さん、耳の痛い真実であっても、常に率直に伝えてくれてありがとう。
中山さん、卓越した専門性と人間性を兼ね備えた存在でいてくれてありがとう。
望さん、あらゆる障壁を取り除き、そしていつも信じ続けてくれてありがとう。
ポール、優れた直感を、そして変わらぬ忠誠心と友情をありがとう。
イド、信念を持って常に闘い続けてくれてありがとう。
渉、私と日本をつなぐ架け橋となってくれてありがとう。
ケビン、どんな時も努力を惜しまず、笑顔でいてくれありがとう。
英人、私の声となり、パートナーとなり、支えとなってくれてありがとう。
愛する妻、リアット、すべてを支える土台となってくれてありがとう。ファイナルGame1の後にくれたアドバイスにも感謝しています。
クラブに関わるすべての皆さんへ、皆さんのプロ意識、たゆまぬ努力、そして常に最高のものを目指し続ける姿勢に心から感謝しています。
長崎の皆さんへ、文化も背景も全く異なる私をこの地に受け入れ、支えてくださったことに感謝しています。初めて長崎に来た日から、この街は私にとってホームのような場所でした。その恩は決して忘れません。
長崎は私の人生を変えてくれました。そして私たち家族は、これからどこへ行こうとも、この街で過ごした時間を大切に抱き続けます。

We The Nagaski! - There could not be a more fitting phrase to describe these last two years.
The unity between all of us; ownership, management, staff, coaches, players, and the people of
this city has been the greatest force behind everything we have achieved.
Being entrusted by this club with the responsibility of bringing its vision to life has been one of
the greatest honors of my career. I accepted that responsibility with deep commitment, and I
tried my best to give this city the team it deserves.
Today, I leave with immense pride, knowing that this organization sits at the top of the mountain
of Japanese basketball - Champions.
The climb was not easy. There were challenges, setbacks, and moments that tested all of us.
But we reached the top because we climbed together.
There are so many people I owe thanks to.
Takuma-san - For being a truth teller, even when the truth wasn't easy to hear
Nakayama-san - For your incredible combination of expertise and humanity
Nozomi-san - For moving every obstacle out of our way, and for always believing
Pauli - For your incredible instincts, your loyalty & friendship.
Ido - For always fighting for what you believe in
Wataru - For being a bridge between me and Japan
Kevin - For grinding and always smiling
Eito - For being my voice, my partner, my safety net
My Beautiful Wife, Liat - For being the backbone that held everything together, and for the
advice you gave me after Game 1
To everyone throughout the organization - thank you for your professionalism, relentless
effort, and commitment to excellence.
To the people of Nagasaki — thank you for welcoming and supporting someone so different
from yourselves. From the very beginning, you made this city feel like home.
I will always be in your debt.
Nagasaki has changed my life, and my family will carry a piece of this city with us wherever we go.
